(This notification is issued as per the Memorandum of Association and by Laws of ISA for the conduct of 2025 elections meant for all states).

Nominations are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists: Bangalore Metro branch for 2025.

General instructions:

The nomination of candidates to the election shall be made in the prescribed format, which is enclosed herewith. Every nomination together with the written consent of the candidate to contest the election duly proposed by one and seconded by another Active ISA Life Member shall be sent to the Honorary Secretary, ISA Bangalore Metro Branch so as to reach him not later than 5:00 PM on 12-07-2025.

Nomination/Application (signed copy) for these posts to be received from 01-07-2025 and must reach the Office of the Honorary Secretary, Indian Society of Anaesthcsiologists (Bangalore Metro branch) before 5:00 PM on 12-07-2025, by Registered Post with ACK due / Speed Post / Courier / E-mail (secretaryisablrmetro@gmail.com) /By hand at the Office of ISA State.

A scanned copy of the nomination form should be submitted online / by E Mail also to secretaryisablrmetro@gmail.com

The Immediate Past President (Dr Anantharamaiah T) will serve as the Electoral Officer and conduct Elections, if necessary.

One person can file nomination for ONE POST ONLY.

One person can send nomination for SAME POST ONLY TWICE on two separate occasions.

 Contestant shall not be holding any post in the executive committee board of National / State / City while submitting nomination. (As per special AGBM of ISA National held on June 7th 2025).

If in case any contestant holds a post in the executive committee board of National / State / City, he / she should have resigned for the post through proper channel before the date of elections notification. (As per special AGBM of ISA National held on June 7th 2025).

Any contestant having occupied higher post cannot contest for lower post.

For example vice president can apply for only president post. Likewise secretary can apply for vice president and president, treasurer can apply for secretary, vice president and president, Editor can apply for secretary, treasurer, vice president and president and EC members can apply for any above post.

Vacant posts, if any after the elections, shall be filled up from the ISA members of the state present in the immediate next regular AGBM to be held during World Anaesthesia Day Celebrations.

Eligibilitv criteria:

President and Vice-President

1. Contestant must be a continuous member of society for not less than ten years.
2. Must have at least 1 complete term prior experience in the executive committee of city/ state ISA.
3. Should have attended and signed the register on at least 3/5 Regular AGBM in immediate prior ISA Bangalore Metro Branch.

Secretary and treasurer

1. Contestant must be a continuous member of society for not less than ten years.
2. Must have at least 1 complete term prior experience in the executive committee of city/ state ISA.
3. Should have attended and signed the register on at least 3/5 Regular AGBM in immediate prior ISA Bangalore Metro Branch .

Executive Committee Member

1. Contestant must be a continuous member of society for not less than five years.
2. Should have attended and signed the register on at least 3/5 Regular AGBM/ Monthly meet attendance in immediate prior ISA Karnataka state conferences.
